Firefox plug-in that turns all text or image mentions of “BP OIL” into dripping square black-ed out blobs. One of the best culture jamming displays of technological activism ever. Only wishing more were doing statements along this line.

Great to see design, social media, technology and activism come together to make a statement about the Gulf Oil leak. Timely and it looks good to boot.

Alright 2012, you got me. I spent the better part of an hour wondering what I, as a reader, may have done to prompt this abrupt end. Saddened I went for a jog, did some abs, learned some belly dancing, took a shower and sat down to finish reading my open blogs. Which is when I realized it was just some April Fools Day joke where I played the workout jester. Ha, ha, very funny wise ass. Gold star! Keep, keeping my inbox full of the daily eye candy.

For the record, I stopped at “silk.”

Found this Tumbler blog through fan page on Facebook. Queen of the Pavement is the title and I love it. Not only does Helena take photos of her travels, but adds filters and borders that remind me of contact 35mm slides. She embodies the Daydream Manifesto more than any other photo blog I’ve seen.

Always a treat when she adds new photos which are two or three times a day. Good job! Gold star for all of her hard work!

In its 4th year, Thing a Day invites artists to make and post one thing per day. I’ve been watching for the past few days and am surprised how many new items are added by the minute.

D A Y D R E A M • P R O J E C T ? Most certainly.
